Hey Folks! So PAKMAN recently visited CHOP CHOP WOK that opened a couple of months back in the heart of Khadda Market, next to Indus Foods. It is a rice and noodle bar with simplistic furnishing accompanied by rustic wooden benches with minimal yet stylish vein breathing life into the natural décor.
‘Make your own 3 – STEP WOK’ is apparently the mantra behind the 30 minutes waiting for dining. The restaurant aims to provide the Asian cuisines ranging from the spicy Thai to mild Cantonese, exotic Oriental, traditional Japanese, Vietnamese and flaming Pan Asian.
The game is simple! You get to choose your base, a flavour and a preferred meat of your choice. Since PAKMAN tries to choose the best of healthiest option on the plate, he opted for Brown Rice along with PAN ASIAN flavor (ardent spice lover) and chicken on the top.
Friends, who accompanied, ordered Thai Red Curry with Jasmine Rice from the WOK SPECIAL category. It was not too bad – the Karachi Thai restaurants have spoiled us.
A traditional Thai red curry made with a subtle blend of hot, salty, sweet and sour flavors to get your taste buds tingling.
A Fresh Mint Lemonade was ordered on the side which was splendid. Trust me guys! Being a mint lemonade freak, CHOP CHOP WOK has by far the best mint lemonade in town. Guilt free! No soda! Only fresh mint leaves with Chilled Ice and water!
Having a sweet tooth? Dhuh! The site of Fried-Ice cream on the menu board distracted us at intervals and so we had to order – Thank God we ordered just ONE!
PAKMAN and Friends’ visit to Chop Chop Wok was quite pleasant – A great concept, delicious food with a healthy portion size and reasonable pricing. Oh and of course not to forget the commendable service. It is a must try guys. DON’T MISS IT!
